THE AREA
La Dehesa de Campoamor, Alicante(NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH CAMPOMAR) is a village in the very south of the Costa Blanca, bordering on the Costa Calida.
The climate is probably the best in Spain, and there being no heavy industry anywhere near this area it is considered by The World Health Organisation to be one of the healthiest places in the world to live (the reason I moved here).
Campoamor village itself is very “Spanish”. It is a blend of high rise apartment blocks, all with fantastically kept gardens, and hundreds of beautiful villas in and around the protected pine forested area.
There are several restaurants, a pizza House, Ice cream parlour, supermarket, chemist and a very good gift shop.
A few minutes walk in the opposite direction from El Mirador takes you up to the Costa de Orihuela “Strip” commonly known as Cabo Roig. Here you will find numerous, bars, cafes, clubs, etc. This area is a hive of activity until well into the early hours, and is in complete contrast to the quiet, laid back village just the other side of the bay. A short taxi ride of approx. €10 euro will get you there.
ACCOMMODATION

A typically Spanish hotel, yards from the golden beaches of the Mediterranean, is the setting for this year’s fun. Comprising of 65 hotel rooms encircling a large swimming pool, we have found the perfect spot enabling us to do what we want, when we want, as loud as we want.

*please note, triple occupancy will involve use of a small fold down single mattress. We do not recommend this option unless totally necessary.

A 50% deposit is required upon booking, the balance to be paid on arrival.

ALTERNATIVES
Palmera Beach Apartments – A cheaper option than the main hotel, yet still a wonderful establishment, a mere 15 minute walk along the beach to the main hotel/nightclub. Although it has all you require for a relaxing break, this is relatively far from any other action and will require a cab ride to most places other than the parties.
Priced at €35 euro per room, per night (TOTAL, not per person !)
This is an aparthotel and consists of two double bedrooms, a living area and kitchen. It has four single beds and can comfortably accommodate 5 people, using the sofa bed. It is perfect for extended stays. Full information on their web site.
