Junior White DJ
A native of Naples Italy, Junior White has more than two decades of experience mixing and djing. He started his career in at age 16 in Italy under the tutelage of DJ Tony White and quickly gained his own residencies. Junior also has a background in production and A&R. While still in Italy he worked as A&R/Import Buyer for Level One Distribution, the third largest distributer in Europe at that time.
In 1999 he moved to New York City, USA and opened his own company “Music & Song Inc.” Within 6 months he was collaborating with many US Labels including Strictly Rhythm, Atlantic Records and Nervous Records to name a few. Around the same time he began Djing around town in various clubs such as: GBH, Cheetha, and Centro-Fly.
As of late, Junior continues his work in the studio with Gianni “Blackjack” Fontana of Explode Records, collaborating with new artists and musicians on upcoming house music projects. His recent releases on SoulShine Recordings and Next Dimension Music including collaborations with singer and multi- instrumentalist Noelle are making DJ top ten lists and gaining worldwide support. More recently Junior has been seen Djing at Le Souk, Bed and Nikki Beach.
Coming up, look for new releases from Junior on Soundmen on Wax, Shines Records, Sounds of the Booth and Next Dimension Music. He will start 2010 on tour in the Caribbean and Italy. Junior White believes that music is praise and where there is music there is God. “In music we trust”
Noelle Barbera
Noelle Barbera is a classically trained singer, violinist, pianist and percussionist with Bachelor and Master of Music degrees from the Manhattan School of Music. She has sung both opera and jazz internationally and continues to do so. A versatile singer, Noelle is comfortable in many styles of music with an excellent range.
In addition to singer and lyricist she is also a talented composer, arranger and instrumentalist. Noelle credits her husband DJ Junior White for introducing her to the world of house music. Their very first collaboration, “Away with me” was released on SoulShine Recordings – Soulful Sessions and quickly gained worldwide support. In the coming months, Noelle looks forward to releases with Soundmen on Wax, Shines Records, Sounds of the Booth and Next Dimension Music. 2010 finds her on tour with Junior White in the Caribbean and Italy.
