Vocal Booth Beach Sessions Week 9

The final mix from my 9-week residency in 2015.
4 hours of timeless classics, recorded live at Thai Beach Club in Murcia, every Thursday afternoon between 5 and 9pm.
Most weeks I played to a relatively empty garden area, right on the shores of the Mar Menor. It was never meant to be anything other than a chill-out session all summer. Whilst I really enjoyed playing every week, it never really built up to a point I thought it would, I expected to have more people attending. That was purely down to the lack of publicity and promotion from the venue. As crazy as it sounds, I was glad in a way because the few people that were there every week looked totally non-plussed but the music I was playing. If it did get busy I’d have been pestered all afternoon with daft requests.
The venue is renowned for it’s Sunday night parties, where over 1500 people go crazy to pumping house sounds from 6pm until 3/4am and was a welcome addition to last year’s VBW Monday programme.
I was asked to repeat the sessions again all through this summer but I declined.
