Talk about anti-climax ! I spent most of the day yesterday preparing my debut videcast on Ustream, only to realise it didn’t work the way I thought it did (or at least I haven’t figured it out right yet).
My idea was to use the camera while I used the mic for that total one-on-one experience, and then when the tracks were playing put up information on the artist or label while we continued to chat on line. However, due to the set up of the audio input, it meant that once the video camera wasn’t active, the music dropped out.
It definitely wet my appetite to look into this further, one thing that’s for sure is that Ustream is a great function and I am sure to put it to use late at night with a few glasses of vino in me.. I’m scared already !
So, back to business.
After the shaky start the show got back to the important thing, the music ! 3 hours of great tunes and some AWESOME vinyl nuggets, together with some hilarious moments inside the chat room. This show is a keeper !
