Soul Heaven,Ibiza 2013, Part2 of 2.

I’d been looking forward to this gig for some time now. A chance to play for 6 hours in the sunshine to a bunch of Ibiza clubbers at one of its freshest venues. No dance floor to worry about just provide the soundtrack to the afternoon. Perfect !
The day started off with Gavinha from Brazil warming up things nicely, you can download the final 90 minutes of Gavinha’s set here.
Taking over from me was Giuliano A.L who plays at OB regular and we even get a little back to back action on the go.. that is a pretty hyper set considering we were basically playing to everyone with the booth monitors after the main ‘house’ system was turned right down after sunset. I think it was about ‘Beer o’clock”. Download Giuliano’s set here.
I came to the decks at 3pm and really enjoyed playing at a very ‘chuggy’ 120bpm, even a couple of tougher tracks I played to keep everyone on their toes sounded sexy.
Having recorded quite a few of my sets recently I was conscious of not playing the same music throughout, which meant I actually missed out many of my current favourites.. all the same I think this is a nice, timeless mix that will be the perfect backdrop to a day in the office, in the garden, on the beach or in the car.
