Slowly but surely the madness of the last few months subsides and life gets back to normal.  The VBW is all-consuming for most of my year and now it is over and the children are about to start back at school full days, I finally get some time to myself and my thoughts.. oh shit !
I have had time to think about how best move forward with my shows etc and have found a happy compromise.  I still do not have the will or energy to get back to reviewing and downloading promo after promo for the show but I do have endless hours of audio from the recent Weekender.  This means that I can get back to presenting the show as of this week (29th Sept), sharing with you some of the amazing sets of the support DJs.  I will be live on air as usual from 8pm Thu (GMT), and the podcasts will be sent out on Fridays.  As well as the regular show, I will also send out the mix I air along with another live set from one of the headline DJs from the event.  This ensures you get an uninterrupted copy of Thursday’s set if you prefer no talking.   This podcast will be sent via the Vocal Booth Weekender site, and while it isn’t ideal to have to go to two different places it really couldn’t be simpler.

Moving forward.
As of now, The Vocal Booth Club Sessions are no more.  I will be sharing occasional mixes with you thru this site and I want to thank the guys at SSRadio for all their help in getting the podcast to so many people and I look forward to continuing to share my creations here and on Ustream once the time is right.
I purposely took some time out from my gigs thru October, although one possible party may have just squeezed itself into the schedule.  November is looking very healthy indeed with the VB Reunion in London as well as something extra special which I will be sharing with you next week.
Finally, I would like to share this footage with you. It is up there with the best moments of my life. Mikey, taking part in the DJ competition at the VBW.. I cried like a baby !
