Next up on Sounds of the Booth is this little beauty..
I came up with the rough outline to this track over 18 months ago, and sent it to a great songwriter called Dewey Cioffi.  I was introduced to Dewey thru the lovely GrooveJunkieDiva of Pressure Radio, he has done and continues to work with some of the scene’s biggest vocal talents.   I gave him an idea for the song, a background story of two people in love having to part after a summer together, what developed was September Song, featuring the wonderful vocals of Angel Rose.
A hectic DJ schedule and a full production desk meant this missed the window of opportunity in ’08, athough I was adamant to get it out for 2009.
In this package you will find my original mixes, alongside a funky interpretation from Soul de Marin, who’s works I enjoy more and more.  Blacksoul delivered a big room feel but kept it deep, as he does best, whilst Jose Gonzales smashed it with his trademark drums and stripped back instrumentation.

Alan O’Malley – It may be September but this 2nd release from Sounds Of The Booth has still the sound of summer all over it, smashing follow-up to “Unspoken”, its the main mix im feeling most, great remix package, Andy on fire at the mo!!
