On Friday 15th March a new Gastro Pub opened up in Villa Martin, a predominantly ex-pat area of the Costa Blanca, about 10 minutes in land from Cabo Roig/Vocal Booth Weekender.
After sharing the opening two nights with Tony Greenaway aka Tony G (thanks to him inviting me along), I will be providing the background music for diners and drinkers alike, twice weekly, from now until they decide they can no longer put up with my moaning.
If you are ever in the area, come check me out on Thursdays and Saturdays from 8pm until 1am (ish). The venue really does have to be seen to be believed and the music I will be playing will start off quite laid back (Soul, Funk, Jazz) and finish off with some sweet, soulful grooves. I am extremely happy to be back digging into my music archives each week and the extra cash will definitely come in handy. I am not allowing myself to get too excited just yet though, let’s see how it all pans out.
