I posted a blog last year about making your life easier with RSS feeds.
After an interesting chat with Renato @ Groovenite.com, we decided that this needs to be explained again and again to people, as there is so much information available today that not everything gets digested immediately.
So to recap, here are all the ways you can contact me and all the important things you need to know, in one easy place for me to re-post again and again.
PODCASTS
These are mixes/shows that are put on line and come direct to your inbox or iTunes folder automatically. They are perfect for listening to on your way to work and the beauty is that you chose where they get stored and listen to them at your convenience, never missing your favourite show again. If storage is an issue (running out of space on your computer) then clean up your main drive by buying an external hard drive and transferring a lot of the files over there.
I currently have two podcasts. One is my own podcast with Podomatic. This will generally be a studio mix or live session, whether new or old, and the occasional Vocal Booth radio show if it’s something special.
If you use iTunes, then click here, if not then click here and follow the instructions. They should be very straightforward.
Once subscribing there, then you can also subscribe to my Vocal Booth Club Sessions @ SSradiouk.com. The site only allows you to subscribe through iTunes, click here.
LIVE SHOWS
The Vocal Booth goes live every Thursday @ 8pm GMT on www.pressureradio.co.uk. If you are on a pc just click here to listen. Mac users, click here. If you cannot make the show, then you can always listen again via my Soundcloud page.
SOUNDCLOUD
A great site where you can get the radio show again as soon as it is uploaded. While it is a wonderful facility, the only downside of this is that you have to remember to visit the page to get the new shows. Take a look here.
How to receive all of the above in one common place:
Take a look at this very simple video explaining RSS feeds.
If you are on a mac it is very straightforward. Simply click here, you will then be asked which programme to use, all you have to do is use the Mail.app.
As I always post a blog once any of the above get updated, you will automatically get the information yourself. The weeks fly by so fast nowadays that it is all too easy to miss something.. this eliminates any such worry.
All you will receive from me on my blog is music related information. If you are a friend on facebook or myspace then you really should be subscribed to my feeds here.
If there is anything you are not sure about here, feel free to send me a mail here.
Did I miss anything ?
