Lupus is a chronic autoimmune disease that affects millions of people around the world. It is a disease that occurs when your body’s immune system attacks your own tissues and organs. Inflammation caused by lupus can affect many different body systems — including joints, skin, kidneys, blood cells, brain, heart and lungs.
During this chat I’ll be asking Singer/Songwriter/Radio Host/DJ Miss Joolee B to shed light on the challenges of managing Lupus alongside her career, including both the physical and emotional toll it can take. We will look at what life is like learning to cope with Lupus and the different methods of treatment and diagnosis.
By sharing this interview, we can raise awareness about Lupus and the impact it has on those living with the condition. Whether you or a loved one have been diagnosed with Lupus, or you’re simply curious about what it’s like to live with this condition, we invite you to tune in and learn more.
