Another of my favourite live recordings, taking us back to the summer of 2003. Almost 3 hours of vinyl nuggets.
Just a few months before I moved to Spain to live, I was enlisted to help with promotions on the white isle for a collaboration between Soul Heaven and Southport Weekender. I spent 6 weeks there helping to push the night at a very difficult venue, Pin Up on Playa D’en Bossa in Ibiza. Some weeks were great, some not so. I could give a long write up on the whole thing but as I sit here waiting for a pallet of bricks to turn up, I think I’ll just let the music do the talking.
I have featured this mix before during various broadcasts and sent it out via my old Podomatic account, although I know there will be a lot of people who won’t have heard it before, and it may be a welcome addition to your archives ahead of this summer.
