I was recently put onto this great new service that I wish I had access to years ago when travelling.
Unblock-us is a brilliant website that, in simplest terms, allows you to watch Movies and TV Shows from anywhere in the world that were previously blocked in your region. I don’t recall who recommended this to me but I am grateful, it has opened up some great opportunities for me here in Spain. For example I can now;

• Access and watch Netflix/LoveFilm from the USA or UK, giving me hundreds of TV shows and movies
• Access and watch BBC iPlayer as well as Channel 4OD
• Access previously region-blocked content on the Xbox

I’m sure that’s just the tip of the iceberg, but I am yet to find all the other amazing sites and uses for it.
The process is so straightforward too. You simply pay $4.99 per month (around £3) and this does some wizardry you don’t even need to know about. There are very simple instructions (I mean VERY simple) so you change 2 settings on your router and immediately you are able to access previously blocked content in ALL devices in your house. You can also set up individual laptops/tablets/phones so you can access the material on your travels.

*Of course, to use Netflix there is a small monthly subscription but this is peanuts in relation to the content you get and it’s something I’ve wanted for a long time, and now I have it.
