Monday 29th September 2014. The day I’ll never forget. The day The Ward Family lost it’s most colourful character. The day our Dad died.
There are so, so many things I could and will write about my dad one day.
Everything I am and everything I am not, I owe to him.
I can’t even start to describe the kind of lunatic he was. I mean that in the best possible way. Everyone loved him and he loved EVERYONE. To say he knew EVERYONE is an understatement.
He passed away peacefully, totally unexpected, in his sleep yesterday, one week before his 61st Birthday.
As you can imagine my mom, my 3 brothers, his four grand-children and the rest of a very large extended Ward Family are devastated.
There will NEVER be another like “Big Dennis Ward”. I can’t wait to tell you all about him one day.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not mention this on Facebook. I really DO NOT want 100s of condolence messages. I am still in a state of shock and just getting on with stuff. I want it to stay that way for now.
As usual I needed to share this news to unburden myself of it.
