Another slice of house history, however instead of a piece of vinyl, I unearth and share a classic mix extracted from cassette.
Simply entitled “Crisp 95“, this is 90 minutes of quality ‘Sunday vibes‘.
Whenever listening back to old mixes and records, you always have to put it into perspective. I would rarely get a chance to play like this if I was guest DJ anywhere on a Friday or Saturday, so the Sunday nights at Marco Polo’s were always my haven for the right stuff.. and later in the 90’s we moved onto The Sunday Lockdown once Marco’s closed down.
I love the tunes, I love the way (most) of this has been put together. There are the odd warped moments where the tape has ‘issues’ but it shouldn’t hinder your listening pleasure.
