My beautiful friends, here is my end of year review. If you can’t be bothered to read it all (I wouldn’t blame you) then have yourself some wonderful times over this holiday season and into the New Year.
One of my shows on Choice FM/Galaxy was a record review show called ‘The Good, the bad and the ugly’. Here you get a snapshot of the UK as it turns it’s back on the speed garage movement and catches up with London and the 2 step scene as it is about to burst into the national spotlight in 1998. The music is attached via a link rather than a podcast or available to hear on my app player.
Another moment in time. We go back to New Year’s Eve 1994 (maybe it is 93 after all ?) and a live recording from a night called “Cabello”. It is one of the most memorable nights of my DJ history, even though I hardly remember any of it (all becomes apparent). I decided to share this one mix as a podcast for anyone that doesn’t follow my blog. There are several links to more of these sets on my web site as well as on my app. Get the app here – http://andyward.mobapp.at/

Sounds Of The Booth continues its showcase of underground UK talent! Angus Campbell is far from a stranger to the studio or the limelight. As well as being cousin to UB40‘s Ali Campbell, he has already achieved UK Top 10 status as one half of the B15 Project. Hailing from Birmingham (UK) and the first

As we prepare to jump head-long into November, most of 2010 seems a distant memory. As I already mentioned, I have a few weeks break from any touring commitments and I decided to take full advantage of the down time by also taking a break from the radio show. While I am hiding away for
