My beautiful friends, here is my end of year review. If you can’t be bothered to read it all (I wouldn’t blame you) then have yourself some wonderful times over this holiday season and into the New Year.
One of my shows on Choice FM/Galaxy was a record review show called ‘The Good, the bad and the ugly’. Here you get a snapshot of the UK as it turns it’s back on the speed garage movement and catches up with London and the 2 step scene as it is about to burst into the national spotlight in 1998. The music is attached via a link rather than a podcast or available to hear on my app player.
Another moment in time. We go back to New Year’s Eve 1994 (maybe it is 93 after all ?) and a live recording from a night called “Cabello”. It is one of the most memorable nights of my DJ history, even though I hardly remember any of it (all becomes apparent).
