Back home after a great weekend in Warrington for the Vocal Booth North party.
The weekend started off with a flight into bitterly cold Liverpool where I was met by Frank Ainsworth who took care of me for the evening at his house in Widnes. A guest spot on his radio show was followed by a relatively early night and even earlier start the next day as I woke up at 6am.
Into Warrington centre to meet up with Paul Groove and a good old catch up, promptly followed by the rest of the VB Family, as ever the first in the venue and rocking the floor from the get-go.
The night saw our crew travel from far and wide and while it was a great party, the lack of any of the Warrington locals in the venue or the support of a few of the VB Family in the vicinity meant that it could have been busier although it didn’t detract from the usual carnage that ensues.
The lack of detail surrounding the night here should go some way to letting you know just how messy it was !
The next day saw us go in for round two, there were around 25 – 30 of us who hung around for some fun and games and I had a good chance to get to know one or two people a little better ahead of the event in September. The buzz continues to grow and the Family gets stronger every time we are together.
Too much love and respect to you, if you made the effort. It never goes unnoticed and the energy everyone takes from us all being together is inspirational.
Onwards.
