Unless you have been sleeping in a cave, then I’m pretty sure you heard how amazing The Vocal Booth Weekender was recently.
I am so very grateful to everyone who has helped make this dream a reality, as I already stated in the official programme, and that also includes everyone that supports my radio shows and podcasts.. people who may not be able to join us on the floor but are always with us in spirit… I salute you people !
This blog will more than likely be reaching out to a few new subscribers since the Weekender, so I say “Welcome” here to you guys.   Take a few minutes to browse through the site and find out all about the radio show and my podcasts.  I will be going live again this week Thursday at 8pm GMT as always, live from my house here in Spain across the airwaves with 3 hours of great music and lots of chat about the event.
I also reach out to anyone not fortunate enough to have made it along to Spain this year… I am about to launch a brand new website and it is through there I will announce first the dates for Vocal Booth Weekender 2011.   Please visit www.vocalboothweekender.com NOW and subscribe to that mailing list.  The next event WILL sell out rapidly, so please be amongst the first to reserve your place !  (I will notify that list first, then here a few days later).
So, back on track and ready to rock and roll.. I have set back up all my home studio, it’s almost perfect how I want it now, so I look forward to getting busy on the CDJs asap.   I will catch you in the chat room on Thursday at www.pressureradio.com (8pm GMT).

I’m still on cloud 9. Couldn’t quite grasp what all the fuss was about when people were going on about last year, so pleased I got to see it for myself in person. I have never met so many genuinely nice people in one place. Roll on next year
Well hells bells. I was near to tears looking at all the wonderful pictures. Andy’s message has completely thrown me over the edge whilst trying to hold it together at work this afternoon. Next year can we do it twice? 12 months seems far to far away : ) Magic moments : ) x
so many people have said so many beautiful and positive things about the Weekender, and rightly so – but I think one thing’s been missed slightly – to all the VB newbies that came, laughed, discovered the delights of the “43”, danced and partied through the days and nights, I want to say a big Thank You for adding t…o what was already the best musical Family…you guys all blended into the mayhem so well!! :o)
You have created a beautiful thing here Mr Ward. Let’s not spoil it. Reminds me of the film The Beach LOL!! Anyway, thank you so much for letting me be part of it. Big Love

Last weekend was truly incredible – I’m so glad people got so many photos as I was too busy having fun to take any decent ones. Can’t wait to listen back to all the mixes. I’m still buzzing from the madness xx Roll on 2011 x
Thanks Andy, for making this event possible by bringing together this large family, this family of smooth and soulful house, for us to dance, enjoy, cry and get to know more, surely there was something not at the level estubo but for me it was perfect, thanks …again for you made me mourn with all the feeling of good …music and good example of all who were there, thank you very much again and a thousand times more, I just hope that I will soon pass the time until the year comes, a greeting friend and we are in contact.
What can I say apart from my jaw still aches from laughing so much!  Brilliant 🙂

I’ve been trying to think of words that truly describe what happened at the weekend….. it’s almost impossible!. What I will say is that I feel privileged to have met so many beautiful people, so many talented Dj’s & listened to what is without doubt some of the best music on the planet. The Vocal Booth weekender was undoubtedly one of, if not, THE best weekend of my life. So much love, so much laughs, so many passionate and genuinely nice people. Andy Ward you superseded the last one and i look forward on how you plan on topping it next year.
it is a testament to Andy Ward that he pulled together such an amazing group of artists, dancers and all round beautiful people to create possibly the best weekender experience ever. Mad love and Respect.

Well what can I say sir…….. What a fantastic weekender you put on for us all. You did a sterling job maestro and I salute you. You said you wanted to give something back to the people, well I feel you gave a lot more than you may know. The music was on point from every DJ (including yourself), and the fact that they all played their own style of music and were all home grown Dj’s, bar Hippie Torrales ( truly amazing set), made it a very special weekender. Every Dj’s set told a different story and forced me to dance in ways I never knew before (lol). Big up all the Dj’s involved you worked your shocks off. I’ve got to say compared to Southport, Vocal Booth won hands down (and I’ve attended a mere 5 SPs in my time). You’ve started something special with VB and it’s going to be difficult for you to keep it small and intimate but try to because it works, and it works fantastic. Unfortunately, I’m away traveling next year and so won’t be able to attend VB 2011 (gutted!), but, I shall bless you with my presence come 2012. BTW, the crowd were fantastic, the women amazing and I thank you all for sharing a great/ spiritual weekend.
Vocal Booth is truly something special for special people. Lets keep it that way!
What an awesome weekend with the most amazing people . Was fantastic to be part of it once again. Physically and mentally shattered but was worth it for every single moment.Fantastic sets from all dj’s involved but biggest props going out to you Andy for putting on this wonderful event….long may it continue… Peace and love to all the VB family.
Well done and very many THANX for yet another BLINDING weekender. I wasn’t sure that a bigger event could top the intimate and loved up vibe of 2009′s inaugural event but the vibe was just as intimate and loved up. We had such a great time: every day was fantastic but my favourite night was the Sunday Lockdown complete with classic choons and line dancing! I’m quite sad to have missed some of the DJ sets (thank heavens for the set recordings) but even I needed to get a little rest. Having said that I think I held up pretty well, even when the Cops came knockin’ with handcuffs, which nearly turned into the “Monday Lockdown” lol. Big love to you and the crew.
